ÖSB-certified speech-to-text reporters have to take re-certification tests at regular intervals. This is an obligatory requirement in order to be able to guarantee to the customer the necessary high quality standards in this profession.

In February 2017, I have successfully passed the re-certification test and now I am entitled to offer this service for another 1.5 years.

In 2008, Austria ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Since then, speech-to-text reporting has steadily gained importance and now is going to contribute significantly to guarantee accessibility and to eliminate barriers.

It guarantees accessibility in your company and provides support to hard of hearing people (as well as postlingually deaf children) in their striving for full participation in all spheres of life.
